Old synths non midi with no memory... ?

[ Old midi pre 1983 standard, these synths can be controlled by external devices via control voltage or as in the case of say an OB-1 use tape interface to save/load patches and some settings, the factory tapes are hard to find. Patch cord synths that work on matrix settings can be modified to receive and send settings but seeing as we are only concerned with factory settings we will leave this as a foot note.

Example ... ?

[ See the reset list. Some modules have engineering button settings for example the Roland MKS7 these in sequence can access the units data. Oter units will take sysx commands to reset and reload patch/system data. Always backup your setup to sequencer via sysx, equipment does go wrong and batteries always run low.
