What is BPM ... ?[ BPM beats per minute is used to indicate how many bars are played in a track, the TSIG time signature indicates how many beats in a bar e.g. 4/4 is 4 beats to the bar. ] Back to TopWhere can I find BPM & TSIG on my sequencer... ?[ In the transport panel of your sequencer or in tempo on your beat box, Tsig can be determined by the amount of steps used in older equipment. ]
Back to TopDelay time FX... ?[Using panned reverbs and delays in conjunction with BPM creates great effects, this is especially so now we have surround sound. ] Back to TopHow do I control the FX via controllers & sysx... ?[ It's exactly that you can even control the tempo to correspond with the change in the effect, your computer must be fast to handle the amount of data otherwise you will get jitter. Make sure your sequencer chases SYSX otherwise the real time control won't work. ] Back to TopHow can I use bulk commands... ?[Use bulk sysx commands to fire the initial settings from your sequencer, do this in the pre roll section i.e. -2 bars from start. Chase lock all events.
